You know how sometimes you find a picture on the internet but it's tiny and you can't see the details? Well then Zoom.it is a site you will love! Zoom.it is a fabulous site that helps you display an image in a format that you can zoom in and zoom out. First you choose your image {which must be online somewhere} and paste it into the zoom.it browser.  Then you can share your image by giving people the direct link to it or embed it onto you blog or webpage.

Here is an example using a picture from last summer when we went to visit my best friend.

The Awesome Highlighter is a fabulous site that allows you to highlight information on any webpage and then send the link to someone or share it with your students.

You just type in the url and highlight directly on the page. Here is where I highlighted some things on my blog.  How cool is that?

I love fun fonts and have MANY installed on my computers. It is very time consuming to type a title, highlight it, and then change the font to see what your words will look like in a particular font.  Thankfully wordmark.it is a site to solve this pesky problem!
  1. Type the word or phrase you would like to preview in the text box and click load fonts.
  2.  Wordmark.it will load the fonts installed on your computer and display the text you entered with these fonts in individual grid tiles.
  3. You can adjust the size of the previews by making them smaller or bigger and invert colours to negative to preview how they look on a dark background.
  4. Select previews by clicking on them and filter your selection to compare your favorite options to see which one works better.
